Data Review

The attached file contains the current instance info that I have for every instance in the repository. sorted by submissions (first directory names) There are four columns :

  1. The path to the instance itself
  2. A Yaml file containing the instance history. There is one such file for every instance
  3. A Yaml file that contains meta-information for the entire submission (directory), called meta.yml
  4. A Bibtex .bib file named sub.bib for the entire submission. The Bibtex file is optional.

Example 1:

./Alexandra_M_Newman2/instances/ci-s4.mps.gz    ./Alexandra_M_Newman2/history/ci-s4.yml ./Alexandra_M_Newman2/instances/../meta.yml     ./Alexandra_M_Newman2/instances/../sub.bib

This submission, which consists of a single instance, has all four files. However, having a closer look at the bib-file

>> more ./Alexandra_M_Newman2/instances/../sub.bib
We have a working paper, to be submitted in a  few months.

reveals that the Bib file is more or less useless.

Example 2:

Other submissions such as

./Andrea_Arias/instances/cmflsp40-24-10-3.mps.gz        ./Andrea_Arias/history/cmflsp40-24-10-3.yml     ./Andrea_Arias/instances/../meta.yml

are missing the bib file. Looking into the corresponding meta.yml does not give a hint to a reference publication.

Example 3:

The description in the meta.yml file contains a private email conversation in German.
